Terms of Use

Effective 11 June 2026 · Last updated 11 June 2026

This is draft language for an early closed alpha and is not legal advice. Have a qualified lawyer review and finalise it before public launch. Once kue is incorporated, the Provider details in both Parts should change to the company name and registration number, and additional clauses (payment, subscriptions, the 14-day right of withdrawal) will be required if you introduce paid plans.

This document contains two separate and self-contained sets of Terms of Use:

Each Part stands on its own. If you only use the Site, Part 1 applies to you. If you use the Application, Part 2 applies to you. If you use both, both Parts apply. Please read carefully: by using the Site or the Application you accept the corresponding Terms; if you do not agree, do not use them.

Part 1

Website Terms of Use (kue.gg)

1. Introduction and acceptance

These Website Terms of Use (the "Website Terms") form a binding agreement between you and kue regarding your access to and use of the website at kue.gg, including the alpha waitlist and all marketing and information pages (together, the "Site"). By accessing or using the Site, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Website Terms and by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

2. Definitions

3. Who we are (the Provider)

Kue is a closed-alpha project. As kue is not yet incorporated, the Site is operated by the responsible individual below:

Thomas Coignard (operating as kue)
18 rue Eugène Viollet-le-Duc, 66000 Perpignan, France

General contact: hello@kue.gg  ·  Legal: legal@kue.gg

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Site. By using the Site you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Website Terms.

5. The Site and the alpha waitlist

The Site is a marketing and information website that presents kue and operates the closed-alpha waitlist. It does not require a user account and is provided free of charge.

By submitting your email address (and any optional details such as Riot ID, region, or rank) to the waitlist, you ask to be contacted about closed-alpha access and product updates. Joining the waitlist does not guarantee that you will receive access, nor any particular timeframe. You can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link in our emails or by emailing us.

6. Acceptable use of the Site

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes. In particular, you agree not to:

7. Intellectual property

The Site and its content — including software, design, text, graphics, the kue name and logo (the nabla mark) — are owned by kue or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Site for your own non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, distribute, resell, or create derivative works from the Site except as permitted by law.

League of Legends and Riot Games are trademarks or registered trademarks of Riot Games, Inc., and all related assets belong to Riot Games, Inc. Kue claims no ownership of them.

8. Your submissions and feedback

You retain ownership of information you submit through the Site (such as your email or feedback). You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to use and process it to operate and improve the Site. If you send us suggestions or ideas, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free right to use them without obligation or compensation to you.

9. Third-party links and trademarks

The Site may link to third-party services (such as Riot Games, Discord, or social media), which we do not control and for which we are not responsible. Kue isn't endorsed by Riot Games and doesn't reflect the views or opinions of Riot Games or anyone officially involved in producing or managing League of Legends. League of Legends © Riot Games, Inc.

10. Privacy and data protection

Our handling of personal data collected through the Site is described in our Privacy Policy, available at kue.gg/privacy. By using the Site you acknowledge that you have read it.

11. Disclaimers

The Site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including as to accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Content on the Site is for general information only and may change without notice.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, kue shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site. Nothing in these Website Terms excludes or limits our liability where it cannot lawfully be excluded — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for gross or wilful misconduct under French law. As the Site is provided free of charge, our aggregate liability is limited to the maximum extent the law allows.

13. Indemnification

You agree to hold kue harmless from claims, damages, and reasonable expenses arising from your misuse of the Site or breach of these Website Terms, except to the extent caused by us, and only to the extent permitted by applicable consumer-protection law.

14. Availability and changes to the Site

We may update, restrict, suspend, or take the Site offline at any time, in whole or in part, without notice, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

15. Changes to these Website Terms

We may update these Website Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

16. Governing law, consumer rights and disputes

These Website Terms are governed by French law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence.

Please contact us first at legal@kue.gg so we can try to resolve any dispute amicably. EU consumers may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Failing an amicable resolution, disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the competent French courts, subject to any mandatory rule allowing a consumer to sue in the courts of their place of residence.

Part 2

Application Terms of Use (kue app)

1. Introduction and acceptance

These Application Terms of Use (the "App Terms") form a binding agreement between you and kue regarding your access to and use of the kue application (the "Application"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Application, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these App Terms and by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Application.

2. Definitions

3. Who we are (the Provider)

Kue is a closed-alpha project. As kue is not yet incorporated, the Application is operated by the responsible individual below:

Thomas Coignard (operating as kue)
18 rue Eugène Viollet-le-Duc, 66000 Perpignan, France

General contact: hello@kue.gg  ·  Legal: legal@kue.gg

4. Eligibility and capacity

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Application. By using the Application you represent that you meet this requirement, that you have the legal capacity to enter into these App Terms, and that the information you provide is accurate.

5. Description of the Application (closed alpha)

The Application reviews your League of Legends matches, identifies a small number of decisions that influenced the result, and presents each with a clip, an explanation, and a suggested fix, tuned to your profile, rank, and role. The Application is currently offered free of charge as part of the closed alpha. Features may be added, changed, or removed at any time.

6. Account registration and security

To use the Application you create an Account using your email address with a password or a one-time "magic link." You agree to:

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your Account. We may refuse, suspend, or remove Accounts during the alpha at our reasonable discretion, in line with Section 17.

7. Connecting your Riot ID and game data

To analyse your matches, you provide your Riot ID (and optionally your region and rank) by entering it manually in the Application. You confirm that the Riot ID you submit is yours or that you are authorised to use it. The Application then retrieves the corresponding match data via Riot Games. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Application complies with Riot Games' Terms of Service and applicable policies. How we process this data is described in our Privacy Policy.

8. AI-generated analysis — nature and limits

The Application's reviews, explanations, and suggested fixes are generated in part by automated and artificial-intelligence systems. They are provided for informational and educational purposes only. They may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for a given situation, are not a substitute for professional coaching, and do not guarantee any improvement in your rank, results, or performance. You remain solely responsible for the decisions you make based on them.

9. Acceptable use of the Application

You agree not to:

10. Intellectual property

The Application, including its software, models, design, text, graphics, the kue name and logo (the nabla mark), and all related content, is owned by kue or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Application for your own non-commercial use in accordance with these App Terms. No other rights are granted. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell, or create derivative works except as permitted by law.

League of Legends and Riot Games are trademarks or registered trademarks of Riot Games, Inc., and all game-related assets and data belong to Riot Games, Inc. Kue claims no ownership of them.

11. Your content and feedback

You retain ownership of content you submit (such as your Riot ID, messages, or feedback). You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, host, and process that content solely to operate and improve the Application. Because the Application is in closed alpha, we particularly value feedback: if you send us suggestions, bug reports, or ideas, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free right to use them without obligation or compensation to you.

12. Third-party services and Riot Games

The Application relies on data from Riot Games and may interoperate with third-party services (such as Discord), whose own terms govern your use of them and for which we are not responsible. You agree to comply with Riot Games' Terms of Service when using the Application. Kue isn't endorsed by Riot Games and doesn't reflect the views or opinions of Riot Games or anyone officially involved in producing or managing League of Legends. League of Legends © Riot Games, Inc.

13. Privacy and data protection

Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, available at kue.gg/privacy. By using the Application you acknowledge that you have read it.

14. Availability and alpha status

As a closed-alpha product, the Application may be incomplete, change frequently, experience downtime, or be discontinued without notice, and we provide no service-level commitment. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Application at any time. We may ask you to keep certain non-public features confidential.

15. Disclaimers — "as is"

The Application is provided in closed alpha, on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. The Application may contain bugs and errors. As stated in Section 8, its analysis is informational only and guarantees no result.

16. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, kue shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, loss of opportunity, or loss arising from your reliance on the Application's analysis. Nothing in these App Terms excludes or limits our liability where it cannot lawfully be excluded — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for gross or wilful misconduct under French law. As the Application is provided free of charge, our aggregate liability to you is limited to the maximum extent the law allows.

17. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Application at any time and request deletion of your Account by emailing legal@kue.gg. We may suspend or terminate your Account, with or without notice, if you breach these App Terms, misuse the Application, or where required for legal, security, or operational reasons. We may also end the closed alpha or discontinue the Application at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law) survive termination.

18. Changes to the Application and to these App Terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Application at any time, particularly during the alpha. We may also update these App Terms; when we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, stop using the Application.

19. Governing law, consumer rights and disputes

These App Terms are governed by French law.
